Blessing of the Surf - 2008 - details
Blessing of the Surf Ceremony is to be expanded in 2008 to include Rainbow Beach on the Cooloola Coast. Provisional dates are WOORIM in October, and RAINBOW BEACH in November. There will be a large contingent of locals going up to Rainbow Beach for the event. All exciting stuff, and the new venue is JUST FANTASTIC.

Congratulations! Woorim Beach was the Regional Winner of the Clean Beach Challenge in 2007. Many thanks to all those who regularly ‘patrol’ the beach and surrounds on a daily basis with their plastic bags to collect rubbish that has been thoughtlessly discarded.
